The 27M Solar Panel Kit

The Nomad 27M solar panel which utilizes mono-crystalline solar technology has already proven itself to be an extremely convenient and cost effective source of energy. In fact, the Nomad 27M puts out 27 watts and one of the great things about it is that it can be charged during all weather conditions. During clear, sunny spells, a full charge takes approximately four and a half hours. The amount of time required for a full charge does of course depend on the weather, so when it’s partly cloudy, charging takes more or less seven hours, and if the sky is completely over overcast, it may take up to 15 hours. It should also be noted that charging times also vary depending on the type of batteries being used. All in all, when one considers the fact that you’re getting free electricity, waiting for the batteries to charge poses no real problem at all.

When it comes to charging electronic equipment such as mobile phones, flashlights and MP3 players for example, nothing beats the Nomad 27M solar panel. When in use, the unit measures 22.5″ x 44.5″ x 0.03″, and when folded away for storage, it measures just 10.5″ x 7″ x2″. This makes it an ideal traveling companion, given that it can easily be store away inside your backpack, and because it only weighs 3.4 lbs, you’ll hardly even know you’re carrying it. Need to charge your phone while you’re hiking in the hills? Simply open up your Nomad 27M, attach it to the outside of your backpack, and then connect up your phone, flashlight, or any other appliance which needs charging. By the time you stop walking to take a break, your phone battery will be charged – it’s that easy.

Nomad 27M solar panel differs from the 13.5M panel in the number of watts. With a higher amount of wattage, it provides more power and is more efficient than the 13.5M panel. It also stores energy for much longer. Both use about the same charging voltage of 12V (+/-2V) but the 27M has an open circuit voltage of 18V.

Included with the Nomad 27M solar panel are 3 Aluminum support rods which can be used to improve stability during outdoor charging. Additional, the kit also includes 4 robust grommets which allow you to position the panel at practically any angles, and if you’re concerned about having wires running everywhere, there’s no need to be because the connector cord is housed in a built-in pocket of its own. This of course helps to minimize the chances of someone tripping over the wire.

The Nomad 27M solar panel is made from top quality material which is durable and hardwearing. This essentially means that once you’ve bought it, you’ll have for many, many years. The unit is also water resistant, so even if you leave it standing outside overnight, you don’t need to worry about it getting damaged if it rains. Rain and dew will have absolutely no affect on it at all, but if you know you won’t be using it for a while, then it is of course better to fold it up so that it can be safely stored away in the case provided.

The first person you need to call is the green business coordinator, you can find this coordinator in every county, of every state. The coordinator will give you the application, a list to go by and the green business directory. The coordinator is available to come to your business and teach you the things that need to be done to eventually get certified.

With the paperwork that you need is in front of you it is time to study the policies that are standard for green or environmentally friendly businesses. This means that you will probably have to change your policies as well. Put the new policies on the bulletin board where every one who works for you will be able to see and read them. Encourage your employees to help you with some of the things that need to be done to complete the process.

Once you have had time to go over the green standards you may go online and take their assessment test to get an understanding of how it differs from your business. While you are on that website you will see they offer green tips for your use. If you are in need of extra help think about employing a certified green consultant. They will help you get closer to taking that business test.

The green business bureau is very serious about the certified businesses to comply with their rules everyday. Every so often they will send someone to come into your business and find out if you are operating under their regulations. Teaching all of your employees to maintain these rules as well. You must not be complacent because you could lose your certification status. You have worked very hard to get that status, so be ever mindful of that possibility.

More and more customers do their shopping at green owned businesses. There are more popping up everyday. Many companies are offering these types of business certification programs. This program will teach you everything you need to know, and help you receive your certificate. Rumor has it that the government may make a regulation that all businesses have to follow green policies. Why not get a head start and become a green company.

Everyone has an answer as to why the open a business, just think about why being a certified business is important to you. After you come to a conclusion and have an answer then you can continue on the journey to make your dream business a reality. Having this kind business is an incentive to bring like minded customers into your shop and do business with your company. Your company will be recognized by other business owners in your city.

At this point I have given you some general information about the green business program. It is a lot of work, but if you do the work now, the rewards will be long lasting. Customers really respond well and support green businesses. They also help market your business by telling everyone they know about your shop. You could even educate your customers on the idea of saving energy and reusing is something they can do at home.

Why Use Green Energy Source?

Fossil fuels have been around for ages and have helped advance us human being as a society as well as improving the way we live our life. The usage of these type of fuels have enabled us to power our cars, light our street lamps as well as providing adequate heating for us during the winter nights. It is therefore not surprising that we today face the situation of global warming as well as a rising temperature that threatens our very existence as an organism.

With that in mind, it is no wonder that more and more people are focusing their energy in developing newer alternative energy source that could help address some of the issues that fossil fuels are bring, such as the rising temperature. Alternative energy source are cleaner and is a better and cheaper solution for those facing a shortage of oil as they are renewable as well.

Although it is still at it’s infancy stage, it should not stop us from making the changes in to the newer form of power as there are more than only one form of energy which could collectively make up for the lack of potential to generate enough power to entirely replace our traditional fuels.

The various energy forms are solar, wave, wind, hydro and even geothermal that are unlike traditional fossil fuels, coal and nuclear power plant, it does not emits harmful byproducts to the environment and contribute even further to global warming.

Do bear in mind that ultimately, coal power plant are still releasing a huge amount of carbon dioxide in our air and is one of the top contributing factor to the warming of the earth. Just imagine that there are about 50,000 plants all around the world right now!

I would like to quickly point out the effects of nuclear power plant, if you remember Chernobyl you’ll have an idea of how deadly it can be. Although unlike the coal power plants which emits harmful byproduct to the atmosphere, inappropriate or wrongly techniques used to dispose those spent power rods can easily cause a meltdown of the plant! Chernobyl today are also known as ghost town, quite rightly so given that there are still fatal radioactive materials lingering in the air, and up to hundreds of miles away.

On the other hand, using green energy sources may requires much less maintenance than other form of energy source, not to mention that most of it’s energy are generated from the earth itself, maybe this is a sign from mother earth telling us to use it’s energy instead?

Time is indeed, running out in terms of saving our planet. With every passing year, our global temperature is soaring, therefore the time is now for us to make a difference in the way we generate, use, and recycle energies. Choose to save our environment and help preserve it for our next generation before it’s too late.
